A growing North American e-commerce company selling across Amazon US, Canada, and Mexico needed unified analytics across all marketplaces. They were drowning in manual spreadsheets and couldn't see real-time profitability per product.

THE CHALLENGE

  • Sales data scattered across 3 Amazon marketplaces with different currencies (USD, CAD, MXN)
  • Settlement reports required 8+ hours of manual processing weekly
  • No per-SKU margin visibility — couldn't tell which products were actually profitable
  • FX rate fluctuations made Canada and Mexico P&L unreliable
  • Team of 2 people couldn't scale reporting as SKU count grew past 90+

  • Built automated data pipeline that pulls settlement reports via Amazon SP-API
  • Developed per-SKU P&L engine: revenue, COGS, Amazon fees, shipping, advertising, FX-adjusted margins
  • Created real-time dashboard: revenue by marketplace, margin by SKU, trend analysis, ABC rating system
  • Automated weekly/monthly reports delivered to Google Sheets with IMPORTRANGE formulas for team access
  • Built FX rate integration for CAD and MXN settlements using Amazon's native rates
